Who we are
Online Till ("we", "us") provides ePOS systems and related services to businesses across the UK. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

What this website stores on your device
This website does not currently use any third-party tracking cookies. The only things stored on your device are:
- Accessibility preferences — if you use the accessibility options (text size, contrast, readable font, underlined links, reduced motion), your choices are saved in your browser's local storage so they are remembered on your next visit. This is functionality you request, so it is classed as strictly necessary.
- Your cookie choice — when you respond to the cookie banner, we save your decision in local storage so we do not ask you on every page. This record is itself strictly necessary.
Nothing above is shared with anyone, sent to any server, or used to identify or track you.
Cookie categories
The cookie settings dialog lets you control the following categories. Non-essential categories are always off unless you switch them on, and you can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.
- Strictly necessary — required for the website to function, including your accessibility settings and your cookie choice. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — would help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We only use these if you opt in. None are currently in use.
- Marketing — would be used to show relevant Online Till offers elsewhere. We only use these if you opt in. None are currently in use.
If we introduce analytics or marketing tools in future, they will only run for visitors who have opted in to the matching category, and this page will be updated to name each tool.
Personal data you send us
If you contact us by email, phone or the contact form, we use the details you provide (name, business name, email address, phone number and your message) solely to respond to your enquiry and, where you ask us to, to prepare a proposal. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.
To protect the contact form from automated abuse it may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that a submission comes from a person and is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@onlinetill.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Managing your choices
You can reopen the cookie settings at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the page footer. You can also clear your browser's local storage to remove everything this site has stored, and most browsers let you block storage entirely for this site.
